Digital ID Instructions

  • What is a Digital ID: A digital ID contains information such as your name and email address, the name of the company that issued your digital ID, a serial number, and an expiration date. You usually only have one, like a driver’s license, but you can have multiple for different signing circumstances. Essentially, it proves your identity to people that receive a document that you have signed digitally.

  • How to Create a Digital ID:

    1. Click on the signature box, then click "Configure a new Digital ID."

    2. Click "Create a new Digital ID" and hit "Continue."

    3. You can then choose where to save your ID for future digital signatures. Then click "Continue."

    4. Enter the relevant information (name, business, email). Then click "Save."

    5. A preview of your signature will open. You can click "Sign" at this time, if the signature looks fine to you. You also have the option of changing its appearance by clicking the "Create" button in the top right corner. You can edit the signature by changing the text font, drawing a signature, or uploading an image of your signature. If you edit the signature, click "Save," then "Sign" back at the original screen.

    6. You will then be prompted to save the signed document.

    7. Your document is then signed. You can either upload it to our portal or send it to me via email.
